Meaning Makers

For leaders and managers

Understand the people you lead.

Prepare your leaders to build teams that understand the direction, speak openly and act despite uncertainty.

We show how people receive a leader’s decisions and actions, and turn that into specific conversations, meetings and everyday work.

Meaning Makers Leadership

The world of work is changing. You are still leading people.

AI, restructuring and shifting expectations mean a leader won’t always have the answers. That makes it all the more important how people receive what they do. A decision that seems logical to a leader can feel to an employee like a loss of autonomy. A question meant to help can sound as if you are doubting their competence.

We prepare leaders to build teams that:

Understand the direction and the reasons behind decisions.

They know what matters most, why a decision was made and how it connects to their everyday work.

Speak openly about problems and take ownership.

They ask questions and raise difficulties because it is safe to do so. At the same time, they know what is expected and follow through on what has been agreed.

Know what they can influence and which step to take.

They can tell what is known from what is uncertain, understand the limits of their own decisions and take the next step on their own.

Understanding that changes how you lead

See what leaders’ actions set off in the team.

We work on the situations your leaders face every day. We show how a leader’s decisions and behaviour shape whether people feel valued, know what to expect, have a say in their own work, feel part of the team and are treated fairly.

01

Leaders work on their own situations.

A conversation, a decision or a change they need to lead. They notice their own reactions and how others receive what they do.

02

They understand how people react.

We look at what might trigger resistance, withdrawal or a willingness to cooperate, and the needs behind it.

03

They practise a different approach.

They prepare a new version of the conversation or message, practise it and get feedback.

Leaders leave with a refined approach to their own conversation, decision or change, and an understanding of why the words, questions and steps they choose work.

We work in Polish or English, including with international teams. In person or online. We tailor the format, length and scope of the programme to your challenges.

Tailored scope

We start with what your leaders are dealing with.

The common foundation is understanding people and your own impact on the team. We shape the rest of the programme around your group’s challenges.

Leaders turn strategy into a message people understand and can relate to their own work. They explain the reasons behind decisions, choose priorities and show what they mean for the team.

The person behind the workshop

I prepare people for the conversations that matter.

I’m Wojtek Mendyka. For more than 15 years I’ve worked with leaders, experts and teams in international organisations and on MBA and Executive MBA programmes.

At Meaning Makers, I turn what we know about how people think, communicate and make decisions into professional practice. I help leaders see why a message that seems obvious to the person sending it can be received quite differently by the team.

In the workshop, we work on your own situations. I want you to understand the mechanisms and be able to choose your approach deliberately, even when a new challenge comes along.

Let’s talk about your leaders

What do you need to prepare them for?

A new direction, changing roles, a difficult decision? Tell us who your leaders lead, what is changing in your organisation and which situations they find hardest right now. Together, we’ll agree what is worth working on and what the programme should achieve.
